The reason is that the restore button you clicked is to restore ONLY the page you're on. It's not the right way to restore an AWM application. There's no button to restore an AWM app but you can go to the "Deleted Pages" tab in the Page Index and restore the deleted batch. Note that I understand how this can be confusing for a user. I think we need to improve two things that require separate JIRAs:
- When deleting an AWM app, don't display the current deleted page template. Either navigate to the AWM home page or provide a special template for a deleted AWM app with a special action to restore an AWM app.
- In the standard deleted template vm, make it clearer that it's possible to restore not only the current page but also all pages deleted at the same time. Right now we have a "deleted batch id" column but it's probably not easy for users to understand what it means.
