Description:

Prerequisits needed to reproduce the issue:
Have the color button visible on the Editor toolbar

Steps to reproduce:
1. On a page, create a paragraph, or use an existing paragraph.
2. Create link in that paragraph to an internal page
3. Select the paragraph and apply a font color to it (after having activated the color button in the editor administration module)
4. Save the page

Expected results:
The whole paragraph changes color

Actual results:
The color change is only applied to the text before, and including the link, but not to what comes after the link.

Tested and reproduced on XWiki versions: 16.10.9, 16.10.12, current LTS: 16.10.14

Additional info:

  • The bug only happens for Text color, and not Background Color
  • The bug occurs both when using the In-place editor, as well as the WYSIWYG editor
  • The bug occurs both with and without the RealTime editor on
