Author: Vincent Massol <[email protected]> Date: 2026-08-28 (Fri, 28 Aug 2026) Changed paths: M .github/workflows/sonar-pr.yml Log Message: ----------- [Misc] Fail a pull request on the SonarQube issues its own lines carry * Drop sonar.qualitygate.wait: on a pull request SonarCloud counts every issue it reports in a changed file towards the new code metrics the quality gate is made of, whatever line the issue sits on, so a pull request editing one line of a file inherited the issues that file already had and failed a gate none of its own lines made red. * Judge the pull request on the lines it writes instead: wait for the report to be processed, then fail on any issue SonarCloud places on a line it flags as new, whatever the severity, and merely list the issues of the changed files that the pull request did not write. * The conditions of the gate that are not about issues go with it: the coverage is not measured by this build at all, and the duplication of new code is a ratio a handful of changed lines is enough to blow past. Master keeps being judged by the quality gate on ci.xwiki.org.
