Author: Vincent Massol <[email protected]> Date: 2026-10-01 (Thu, 01 Oct 2026) Changed paths: M xwiki/skills/xwiki-doc-export/SKILL.md M xwiki/skills/xwiki-doc-export/tools/docexport.py Log Message: ----------- [Misc] Fix three xwiki-doc-export translation flaws found by a French export of xs/user * Decode a catalogue .properties file as UTF-8 and fall back to ISO-8859-1, both on disk and from git history: seven 18.4.3 French files are ISO-8859-1 and their accented strings came out as U+FFFD. * Keep a renamed label's older translation even when the English label is still shown on another screen ("Locale" on the Information tab is now "Language", while another screen still says "Locale"), appended after the current translations. * Translator prompt: write no file but your own, not even by script; add or drop nothing; for a rename passage quote the "(older UI)" translation when one is listed, and the English labels otherwise; French guillemets take a non-breaking space.
