Hi,
We will review your application shortly, and we will contact you if we
have questions or suggestions. Generally speaking, students that spend
some time either on IRC or write mails to the developers list with ideas
and questions have a better chance of being accepted (generally we get
about 20% of the total number of applications, so it is hard for us to
decide who to take, too).
There were a few questions I was unsure about (not
quite sure what you
guys were asking, what level of detail you were wanting in the answer,
etc.), so I'm definitely not opposed to making modifications and
re-submitting. I just didn't know if you would communicate feedback to
me, or if I needed to do something first. For example, I haven't
completed a detailed design document yet, and I didn't know if that was
something required for the application or not.
I'll read your application today and I'll let you know what needs to be
improved.
Good luck,
