[xwiki-devs] [Warning] Trunk is now 1.9-SNAPSHOT
Hi devs, Now that XE 1.8 RC1 has been released the 1.8 version of XE has its own branches (for core, web and enterprise). Trunk is now holding XE 1.9 version. To everyone: we _must_ commit in both trunk and 1.8 branches for everything except post XE 2.0 features (note that there's no such feature planned for the moment). JV.

Except for bridging macros from the wiki to the new rendering. (Though we don't have a real plan for this yet). Jerome.

Note that this related to a topic we haven't discussed (need to send an email tomorrow) which is about XWiki 2.0. What JV is hinting at is one possibility we have which is to release 1.8.x releases till we get something real stable and to our liking and then rename it to 2.0. This would mean that trunk would be new features for after 2.0 and be renamed to 2.1 after 2.0 is released. On Feb 18, 2009, at 7:12 PM, Jean-Vincent Drean wrote:
