Hi, One design problem we face with the introduction of Nested Documents is that the current global menu is not extensible anymore to support large hierarchies. Also if we hide/deprecate the Space concept we need to find a solution to transfer all the current navigation and actions in another component. Hi Guillaume, Usually we don't create as many wiki, as for example we create pages :) so anyway ... a median wiki has let's say 20 wikis created. We could have a More link that can load more Wikis or we can provide filtering. I would like Wikis section in the Drawer to be more like AppBar for Apps. It should contain 'favorite' wikis that the user navigates commonly to. Another idea could be to list only the wikis a user is a member of. I like the Drawer approach, since it hides away the clutter and focuses on the content. The breadcrumbs should provide content-based navigation, while out-of-context navigation is doable from the drawer (which should be easy to find and learn to user afterwards). This also obviously helps a lot on mobile devices. The only comment I have about it is that it also hides the currently logged in user and that might be a source of confusion in certain cases, where you would have to do an extra click to find out which user you are logged in as. It might also make debugging just a bit harder (like failed test screenshots). Not sure what we can do about this one though. Indeed that’s a good point. For example we could show the logged in user’s avatar with the user menu just left of the Drawer (only for logged in users). Thanks -Vincent

Interesting opinion regarding debugging - although the reasons are all developer oriented. A user typically has a single account. One of the solutions would be to display the small avatar (like is implemented currently) near the drawer activator in order to remove some of the confusion. Problem with this is that is not really the standard for drawer usage, but let's say that in that area we could also add notifications icons. Adding the avatar might help: - users like Admin to know if they are impersonating other user; - normal users to know they are not with Guest. Still, for debugging - we should try to add in the tests a step to set a easily recognizable avatar for our user types (admin, user, advanced). Thanks, Caty

I agree with Edy. As a user, whenever I log in on a web site I expect my avatar and/or my user name to be displayed somewhere (without any action required). What about the UI language picker? Is it displayed near the search icon? I like the proposal otherwise. Great job Caty! Thanks, Marius

When I proposed Wikis to be listed there I took YouTube's subscription example, something like

We could have a More link that can load more Wikis or we can provide filtering.
I would like Wikis section in the Drawer to be more like AppBar for
Apps.
It should contain 'favorite' wikis that the user navigates commonly to. Another idea could be to list only the wikis a user is a member of. Usually there are multiples wikis in the instance, but we are part / navigate to just a few. For the complete list of Wikis we have the 'Wiki Index'.
The purpose of the drawer is: - to contain actions of the current wiki; - to state the current wiki - and allow navigation to the wiki homepage + the main wiki homepage; - to facilitate navigation towards other wikis (this could be a complete list or favorite list);
