[xwiki-devs] [Contrib] Localization sort contrib project creation request
I am writing this email to request the creation of a project on contrib for the following extension developed for XWiki. The purpose of this extension is to put at the developer's disposal a sorting service which takes into account accented letters and language specific sort rules. The extension can be found on extensions.xwiki.org http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Localization+sort and it's source on github.com https://github.com/vrachieru/xwiki-localization-sort
Hi Vicor, That’s nice, thanks. The best would to change ownership of this project to the xwiki-contrib organization (you can do this from the repository settings). In term of naming, I’d propose the following to follow our naming practices (see http://contrib.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome#HRequestingaproject which has names for apps and macros but not for apis yet!): api-localized-sort WDYT? Hi Vincent, It looks like I need admin rights on xwiki-contrib to transfer ownership of the localization-sort repo. Also, I renamed the repo from "localization-sort" to "api-localization-sort" keeping the word "localization" so there are no confusions between the names. Since the service is called "localizationSort" it would be counterintuitive to search for a repo called "localized sort". Just my 2 cents..
