Yes, that's on purpose. The site is growing with the addition of several products (XEM, Watch), so we can't put all the links from all the subwikis in top level panels as they will become too cluttered and will take pages. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask the user to choose the product he wants to know about... Thanks -Vincent

If you refer to http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/ there is no quick links in this wiki. This is the root wiki where most of the users would reach first.

So a quick links (same as the old quick links) would be nice, as user can navigate directly to the required page which has now been migrated to respective sub wikis.

What would you put in it? If the answer is the same as the old panel then I doesn't look right I think since it would only contain links for XWiki Enterprise and not for the other products . You need to realize that the old www.xwiki.org has been replaced with enterprise.xwiki.org. Now that said I don't feel I'm answering your need. Maybe you could explain why you think it's too complex/hard/unintuitive for a user to click on XWiki Enterprise if he wants to see the doc for XWiki Enterprise :) Thanks Sachin -Vincent

secondly you may place the following: * Features * Documentation o User Guide o Programming Guide o Administration Guide * Installation

We can't just put Features since it doesn't mean anything. Features for what? Platform, XE, XEM, Watch, etc? -Vincent

you may also add some other important page of each of the subwiki that you feel user should know.
