Hi guys, We're getting behind again in term of bug closings vs bug openings, see http://tinyurl.com/52oxjq I think we'll need to start again the Bug Fixing Day. I propose to start it again next week. WDYT? Any better idea? Thanks -Vincent

Bug fixing week once 1.6 final is out, before moving to 1.7 features ?
Yes I like that! This is something we need to do anyway on the new rendering and new wysiwyg. Since we're in RC it's a good thing to do before the final 1.6 release so I suggest to start it next week (week of the 22nd of September). If each developers could fix a minimum of 5 bugs during this week that would give us: 5 * count(Sergiu, Artem, Asiri, ThomasM, Vincent, Marius) = 30 bugs minimum and we'll get in the green again. Note that JV is on holiday and back on the 25th. Are we ok to set a target of 5 bugs per committer for the week? I think it's reasonable and not too much, wdyt? It's possible to have one yes but only for major bugs. When 1.6 final is out, we'll only be supporting 1.6 branch + 1.7 (trunk) so 1.5 branch will be closed. Since we're only about 1 week away from 1.6 final there isn't much time for 1.5.3 but we can have a last one if major bugs are found. BTW what I said above is a general rule but any xwiki committers is free to create and release any branch that he wants. For example if you wanted you could release a XE 1.3.5 release but you'll have to do it yourself :) Thanks -Vincent
