How do you actually create the space, and which user action triggers it? Maybe the permissions are set in a way that anonymous users cannot create pages; in that case they cannot create spaces, either Clemens

Thanks Vincent for the reply. It works when the user is logged in but neither the space nor the document is created for a xwikiguest user( I mean without logging in). How can we achieve this without logging in?

Spaces don’t exist in practice. They appear when you create one document with a space prefix. See http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/Spaces

So just create a document named SpaceYouWant.DocumentName and the space SpaceYouWant will appear :)
