[xwiki-devs] Need help to upgrade myxwiki.org to 5.0 ASAP
Hi devs, I think we should upgrade myxwiki.org to XWiki 5.0 ASAP. We're supposed to use myxwiki.org as our test bed for latest versions but we're not using it enough. Anyone who some free time/will to help upgrade myxwiki.org to 5.0? Does not have to be all in one row (it's OK if it's done a few days after the release) but IMO if we want it to be done for each release it makes it by definition part of the release and the release manager would be responsible for it (whether he/she do it or not is another matter).

Ok so your proposal was to do it after each release (not just final releases). I think it's quite some work so I'd propose that we start by doing it all the time for RC1 releases and then if it works out nicely and we can tune the upgrade process so that it's fast then we could try to do it more, including milestones (but sometimes milestones are not that stable but I agree that if that happens we should fix it, maybe it'll help us achieve better milestone stability ;)).
