[xwiki-devs] Google Summer of Code Student Application
HI, I have worked out an application for GSoC 2011. I need an idea whether it is good enough for the submit? Please point out anything you may think to be revised. Regards, -Kasun. -- Kasun Nishshanka. University of Moratuwa. Moratuwa-Sri Lanka.
Hi, I wasn't completed the whole technical description of the project. Hoping to go with your comments. -Regards On Fri, Apr 8, 2011 at 8:46 AM, Kasun Nishshanka <[email protected]>wrote:

Hi Kasun, Bad idea, someone can take your proposal and put it on melange now! Your proposal can be edited while it's uploaded to melange and we can provide you feed-back there. It's good to discuss matters on the mailing list in public but this is your proposal we're talking about :) Please put your proposal into melange and continue from there onwards, I'll go through your proposal once it's uploaded and provide you with some feed-back. Btw, there is no such thing as a 100% complete proposal ;) Hope this helps. - Asiri
Hi.. Thank you very much for your advice. Yeah, it might be a wrong decision. I'm now uploading it. Regards -Kasun On Fri, Apr 8, 2011 at 12:59 PM, Asiri Rathnayake < [email protected]> wrote:

Hi Kasun, Your proposal http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2011/nishshank... in "withdrawn" state and it's not considered as a valid proposal. I hope you did this intentionally. I sent you a couple of emails personally but did not receive any responses so I guessed this is what you wanted. IMO your proposal kind of looked ok and that was the only proposal received for the WikiMacro project :) Happy coding... - Asiri
Hi Asiri, Now it is in the submit state. :). Sorry for the confusion. Kasun. On Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 2:01 PM, Asiri Rathnayake < [email protected]> wrote:

Actually I didn't notice that the proposal was in Withdrawn state. The yellow buttons are really confusing and it doesn't even give a warning when we withdraw. Anyways I did click the re-submit and hope everything is ok. Kasun On Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 7:33 PM, Kasun Nishshanka <[email protected]>wrote:
