Leon, try http://www.theserverside.com/tt/articles/article.tss?l=XWiki it's a tutorial that is a bit outdated but really gives a good feeling of the object and properties models. Many other tutorials are at: http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/ mostly pretty focussed but updated. paul
