[xwiki-devs] About the AdminTools extension
Hello Devs, As a XWiki admin, I installed the AdminTools extension (http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/AdminTools). The configuration check pages are very useful to verify a fresh install, the export pages are priceless (especially the Admin.Export one)... Of course, these pages are not very polished but they do the job. Fortunately, this extension is maintained as a contribution in Github. In the extension wiki, it would be fine to clearly mention that "Import Export Application", "Monitoring Application", "XAR Diff Application" are now included in the AdminTools (as it is for the "Check Config And Indexes Application"). Maybe I miss one or two. If you agree, I can do it. By the way, I submitted a few days ago a pull request to add a new ShrinkTrashBin page in AdminTools. Don't forget it. Maxime

IMO this information should be added in the Admin Tools extension page but I'm not sure we want to add the information on the bundled extension page themselves. Yep please go ahead to update the information in the Admin Tools extension page.
By the way, I submitted a few days ago a pull request to add a new ShrinkTrashBin page in AdminTools. Don't forget it.
Sorry I don't have knowledge of this admin tools app. What I propose is that if nobody merges your pull request in 1-2 days, we give you push and pull access to the Admin Tools app so that you can push your changes. Thanks -Vincent

Actually, only the AdminTools extension is maintained (AFAIK). All the other ones (see above) have not been updated for a long time. It's important to be aware that the up-to-date release of these components are now included in an other extension.

Right, forgot about it. Checking the latest state of the code. -- Sergiu Dumitriu http://purl.org/net/sergiu/

+1 for this. I actually added the warning on the Check Config extension a few hours ago...
