[xwiki-devs] [Brainstorming] Not upgrading runtime libraries during stabilization releases (4.4 and 4.5)
Hi devs, I'm wondering about something following Thomas' upgrade of JGroups from 3.2.0 to 3.2.5. I'm not sure if we should continue doing upgrades of libraries during the 2 stabilization releases (4.4 and 4.5) since an upgrade always introduces a risk. I think the exception is when it fixes an important known issue that we have. WDYT? Thanks -Vincent

Doesn't it the case here since I see XWIKI-8625 also opened for the possible bug fixing release 4.3.2 ? Else, there is even less reason to upgrade for that one.
WDYT?
Thanks -Vincent

+1 unless there's an important reason to upgrade (IE a bug fix) Thanks, Caleb On 12/20/2012 02:46 AM, Denis Gervalle wrote:
