btw, we have been running xwiki 1.0 in tomcat 5.5 (runs as a windows service) and it has been very stable for the past 5 months or so. c.f. http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/windows-service-howto.html

Hi Vincent,

It looks as if the default Windows version is running Jetty.  Is that correct?  If so, I will try to set it up using this: [ http://docs.codehaus.org/display/JETTY/Win32Wrapper ]  Perhaps I can add this as a comment to the installation notes?

I'd add it in the AdminGuide somewhere but yes that'd be great if you could add it when you get it working.

Thanks!

XWiki is running in the servlet container you've chosen to use. Check
the documentation for that servlet container and you'll find how to
run it as a windows service.
