XWiki provides by default a portlet v1.0 (JSR 168) but it hasn't been tested nor maintained in years so I doubt it works. I wrote a while ago a portlet v2.0 (JSR 286) which I tested with GateIn and WebSphere (so no Liferay) and it worked decently. The source code is here https://github.com/xwiki-contrib/sandbox/tree/master/xwiki-portlet . See the integration steps. You have to build it yourself and you have to make some adjustments to the Velocity templates used by XWiki to make it work nicely. Hope this helps, Marius
