Never mind, I think my glasses were dirty or something =) com.xpn.xwiki.user.impl.LDAP.LDAPAuthServiceImpl.CreateUserFromLDAP() Does what I thought should be there. So assuming I model my auth service on the LDAP one, everything should work - please correct me if I'm wrong. Matt
