[xwiki-users] XWiki anchor syntax doesn't work.
[[label>>Space.Page#anchor]] doesn't seem to refer to the anchor but to a non-existent page I use XWiki 4.3 milestone 1.
That's because it's not the right syntax for xwiki/2.1. [[label>>Space.Page||anchor="anchor"]] See http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/XWikiSyntax#HXWikiSyntax2.1LinkSpe... On Tue, Nov 20, 2012 at 2:32 AM, crocket <[email protected]> wrote:

Thanks guys. Why is the 2.1 syntax explained in a place where I can't find easily? Maybe I am a fool, but there are lots of fools in the world. On Tue, Nov 20, 2012 at 10:32 AM, crocket <[email protected]> wrote:

Hi, The xwiki syntaxes help is available from a page inside your wiki, link being in a panel on the right when you edit a page in wiki mode. Could hardly be closer ;) J. Le 22 nov. 2012 01:39, "crocket" <[email protected]> a écrit :

That's not really helping us… Instead, tell us where it should be according to you. That would help! You should also explain how you searched for it. And explain if you were looking: * in XE itself * on xwiki.org * on google (For example http://lmgtfy.com/?q=xwiki+syntax+2.1 , can't be simpler) Thanks -Vincent

I was reading XWiki syntax help in my wiki. Since XWiki syntax 2.1 seemed to be a minor upgrade of 2.0, I assumed I had to follow XWiki Syntax 2.0. Because the syntax help page was very long, I didn't bother to read the whole content but just skimmed the page, so I missed XWiki 2.1 Link Specification. I think XWiki 2.1 link syntax should be included in the "Links" table, too. On Thu, Nov 22, 2012 at 4:18 PM, Vincent Massol <[email protected]> wrote:

If you had found the syntax page then all is good (you should have mentioned it in your first email), it means the navigation is correct. What just remains to be done is http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XE-880 Thanks -Vincent
