I like it a lot! Very good job :-) My only worry is with long space / page names on narrow screens -> what would happen then? Guillaume

Looks very good. One idea: the top menu looks so much like Windows Seven explorer address bar that i would suggest the same behavior for the ">>" element: for example when over the one between wiki and space list other possible spaces in a drop down list with the possibility to click on them to quickly go there. Also maybe clicking on the space could go on space main page (same for the wiki).

Hi Thomas, The difference between the menu and the explorer is that every item has it's own menu options, and we need to integrate those too. What you are saying is very similar to a past proposal for navigation http://incubator.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Improvements/ActionMenuNavigatio... but that didn't get approved, mainly because of scalability issues .

When you click on the wiki/space/page name it should take you there (or the WebHome).

Indeed, i don't remember in which version i tried previously but it was not possible.

When we add more colors in the Color Themes, the button will become customizable, so it won't be necessarily green. Until then, it can be changed though CSS. IMO the most common action for that menu would be "Add Page", but I preferred to put "Add Space" first, in order to keep the hierarchy Space > Page. While "Add Space|Page" take you to a different location/view in order to create them, "Add Comment/Attachment" are anchors that link to the bottom of the page, where the add comment/attachment forms are (the position in the menu also suggest this). So the duplication is for findability reasons, but they are not the most important items in the menu (actually this depends on the way the user interacts with the system).
