Hi James, I guess the pb is that the image is referenced in an HTML A link and thus you'd need to attach it to the page too. This is not currently possible. Actually the word import we currently have is very primitive and it only works thanks to Word's HTML export which is far from being perfect. As Ricardo said, we're working on a proper one. However are you sure you wish to convert all your word docs into xwiki documents? Normally you'd do that only for documents in progress, on which you wish to collaboratively work on.
