I like new menus, except: what about to put the delete entry down in "More Actions" with a separator? not necessarily with a separator - but could in the last place - as a final action. another question is: we can simulate a Move action with the Rename - would be nice if we had this move action more explicit? On Thu, Nov 19, 2009 at 17:26, <[email protected]> wrote:

What would be the difference between Move and Rename?

According to Unix style, there is only move. Actually the same is true for Xwiki. Though some users tend to feel rename more convenient :-p Valdis

IMO, Move is a spacial action that involves changing the wiki or the space of a page, keeping it's current page name. Rename involves changing the page name.

Indeed. A new "rename" action would only change the page name (leaving it in the same space) while the "move" would put it in another space... We can keep that in mind for later. Guillaume

Though I like the flexibility of the current Rename function, separating this into two distinct concepts--Move and Rename--is more intuitive, IMO. -Joshua

Yes more intuitive for Windows user who cannot used rename command to move ;-) I've preference for only one function as today what ever it's called rename or move. Arnaud.
