Hi, Because xwiki has some problem with international encode. see http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-94. To solve the encoding problem, xwiki clear the attachment file name by a method called com.xpn.xwiki.clearName(). This method replaces many characters including Chinese characters with English letters and space. I think the attachment name problem will solved when xwiki solve the international encode problem.
