How to change the Xwiki to other language, such as Chinese.
Hello all, I want to change the Xwiki to other language, such as Chinese. I read document this adress http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/HowDoIChangeTheDefaultLanguage. But I still don't know how to change to Chinese. Do xwiki has something like language-pack which can put somewhere. Then user can change language conveniently. Or if I have to translate it by myself, can you give me some instructions? Thanks, Wang Ning
Hi Wang, Several things: 1) The default Wiki already has several translations but they're probably not perfect. We need help. The languages for which we have some translations are: english, french, italian, spanish, portuguese and german. 2) XWiki supports internationalization. See http://www.xwiki.org/ xwiki/bin/view/UserGuide/I8N to activate/use it. Hi Vincent, I download the language files named ApplicationResources_de.properties and ApplicationResources_fr.properties. I want my xwiki support french, English and German. I read the follow page http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/UserGuide/I8N. And I do what it says. But I still can't change language as the guide says "the link on the top right of every page". I use Tomcat and Mysql. The Xwiki I use is xwiki-1.0-beta-5.war<http://forge.objectweb.org/project/download.php?group_id=170&file_id=7797>.
