On other wikis I know there is a way to find how many references there are to a page, and also a way to see a list of all the pages with links that lead to a page (i.e. backlinks). I googled for this for xwiki, and found a couple of posts, but didn't have any luck figuring it out.

With the version of XWiki on the farm, i don't think it's possible. But with the next, it will be. Maybe Thomas can tell us how to do with the next version, because he was the one who do it. I don't know the status of this thread :-) but what I know from the backlinks is that they're only half-ready ... with such a script on your self hosted wiki page / menu : #set($backlinks = $doc.getBacklinks()) #foreach( $backlink in $backlinks) ${backlink}| #end you can show "once" the backlinks onto a page : I mean -though a "refreshBacklinks function was in development and nearly functionnal- the management of external links, changing of backling through renaming of a page [deleting/recreating, yet] is not developed yet, and the display of backlinks will corrupt through time ... sorry you can use this script on your own version of XWiki, but as mentionned Jeremi, it's not implemented on the 0.9.840 version of the farm, maybe in the next...
