[xwiki-users] Suggestions for new Photo Albulm Xwiki
Hello, we are a groupe of four students and we are actually working on a XWiki extension. This extension will be a modern photo gallery which allows users to organise and publish photos. For now, our planned features are the followings: -Thumbnails display -Responsive display -Autoplay (diaporama) -Nice transitions -Intuitive configuration page included drag and drop function to upload images Do you have another ideas or suggestions to improve our extension ? Hi, It's great that you are thinking about writing a Photo application since we are missing a photo gallery and I'm sure lots of people in the community would like one. There is this page on design.xwiki.org http://design.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Proposal/PhotoApplication that list related extensions for photo album and also list some possible requirements, not sure if it's what you are needing. Hello, I will have some interest for this extension. A little idea : The possibility to integrate a view of a group of photos inside a page. So when users will post photos, they can show it among text of a topic. thanks for your dev. Can't help to wonder ... Photos are metadata-rich files : IPTC, EXIF, and so on. Will your extension extract those metadata and display them (allowing easy use of those tags) ? Le 21/03/2015 08:01, Hamster a écrit :
