First Problem I'm not sure quite what you're looking for. If you want a specific object existance check, this is fairly straightforward (naturally the XWikiUsers object will be there as the query is filtering on that object already). Second problem's fairly striaghtforward, you need to be in advanced mode. To set this: 1) ensure you are logged in 2) select your username on the top righthand corner 3) select the link for enabling Switch to Advanced edit mode. After clicking this link, the "Edit" button should change and have an arrow pointing downwards.
