Just to concur that case, I recently started a new Wiki, and I could use it but I did not get an email with the confirmation code. I thought I lost the email but I am not so sure now.

After your response, I tried to access the Wiki (again), and nothing. Then I went to my personnal page, and I tried the link "Create a new Wiki". And the Wiki I waited for was just created! Actually, while the initial insription process, I saw "your username will be also the name of your wiki" (so I guessed the wiki will be created) and "wait the confirmation email for you newly created wiki". That's what is in the documentation too, if I'm right. So maybe there is something not up to date in the documentation *and* in the text on the pages used for the registration. Furthemore, at no time I had to confirm something. I just followed the registration process and create a new Wiki. Maybe it is not something expected from the XWiki team?
