[xwiki-users] Paste shortcut not availabe in Go-to panel
Hi all, Do you found that ctrl-v, the paste shortcut, is not available in the Go-to panel, which can be called by ctrl-g. Is is easy to enable this? Thanks!
It's functional for me with Firefox 7 and XWiki 2.7. Ctrl-g then Ctrl-v and the copied text is pasted in the input field. Note that just after hitting Ctrl-g, the cursor blinks in the input box. Maxime 2011/11/7 Yang Li <[email protected]>:

Oh, I am using firefox 7.0.1 zh, and XE3.2, but I cannot use paste. However, I tried IE9, it works...It must be due to the browser... 2011/11/7 Maxime Sinclair <[email protected]>

It doesn't work for me either. Normally, there are some shortcuts that trigger the "View" button, and they seem to include Ctrl+V. To fix it locally for you, edit the translation file and remove it from core.viewers.jump.dialog.actions.view.shortcuts In ApplicationResources_zh.properties it doesn't have a translation, so the default English shortcuts are used. This appears to me as fundamentally wrong. There are things in an OS you want not to break and copy-and-paste is one of them! I'd hope ctrl-c (cmd-c) is also guarded. I feel ctrl-f and ctrl-g are also part of the basic set but I'm hacker that never reads a full page without the find function. paul
