Is there a way to obtain a dump of the database for Oracle ? Even a small
one could be right (but if the dump is huge, this goes well too).
I'm askking 'cause on the official xwiki website there only a MySQL Version.
Could someone, send me a dump with some pages or tell me where to found such
a thing ?

Sorry but I don't want to create one, I want a oracle dump (or a oracle sql
dump). Even if i got one generated from Import/Export facility, I could
import it using Import/Export facility cause Xwiki is not working. Why ?
because the database is empty so i don't have special page like webhome;
create new user .... they are ALL blank page.
I tried a lot of things and the last error i got is :
javax.servlet.ServletException: Error number 3 in 0: Could not
initialize main XWiki context
Wrapped Exception: Error number 3201 in 3: Exception while saving
document XWiki.XWikiUsers
Wrapped Exception: Transaction not successfully started
org.apache.struts.action.RequestProcessor.processException(RequestProcessor.java:516)
......
That why I want a oracle dump to start from good things.
As I said before, I achieve to make it work with MySQL (easyly) but I must
make it work with Oracle because we are using only Oracle in Production.
That not my choice else I will be using MySQL.

I won't pretend to understand fully how this side of the Xwiki works, as I've not
had time to dig too deep under the skin..
Can you not put up a starter mysql xwiki (just basic download database) and use the export
facility to create a dump? You have the option to go for xml, if I read correctly - and
oracle understands XML structures relatively well, though you may have some tweaking to do
- you can even use the administrator to push directly into a new database directly as far
as I can recall??
Um, I hope that doesn't sound too daft, just the kinda thing I would try if I was
doing something like that...

New subject: GUI/WYSIWYG Editor and Authentication
I have been running the XWiki 0.9.840 release for several months now,
and I personally find it very useful. However, when I tried to have
other people who are not familiar with the general idea of markup
languages try to start using XWiki in conjunction with a project, they
had problems. So, my rant here is that in order for XWiki to become
useful for me as a general purpose enterprise collaboration tool, the
GUI/WYSIWYG editor needs to be working. Can any provide
information/details about if or when this will be ready and working?
The second barrier for widespread usage I can overcome myself, if I can
get a small jumpstart: user creation and authentication. I have two
goals here:
1. integrate with my organization's existing web signon system - we have
a central web signon page that sets a secure session cookie (very
similar to a Kerberos TGT) in user's browser after authentication. Web
apps that recognize the cookie can then make a callback to a central
server to check the validity of the cookie and receive user attributes
(user ID and other authorization attributes).
2. Integration with Shibboleth for authentication - similar to above,
but works beyond the boundaries of an organization's authentication
system to "federate" identity. See:

On the admin pages there's basic information about the plugable
authentication structure, so it looks like I should be able to build the
appropriate classes. My questions are:
A. How do I get started as a "developer"?
2. How do I edit the Login page to recognize an existing cookie of my
choice?
D. How do I tell XWiki to look for this cookie whenever a user arrives
at the site (ie a new servlet session is created)?
