[xwiki-users] Help needed to start with XWiki ...
Hello All, I am a newbie in XWiki. I installed the standalone version of XWiki and also downloaded the source code for the platform (core) and for the Enterprise (Product). Can anyone guide me as to what should I do next if I wanted to play a little with the Enterprise code and add some features to it. I am using Eclipse IDE. Thanks

You should check the following wiki: http://dev.xwiki.org It contains information on the development of xwiki itself including building it, etc One thing you might want to try to is use XEclipse since you're using eclipse. Check code.xwiki.org to find XEclipse in the extensions. Last we're always looking for people to help with the dev of xwiki so you could start looking at http://jira.xwiki.org, pick some easy issue to implement/fix and learn your way through the code this way. Of course feel free to ask any question here. Thanks -Vincent
Hi Vincent, thanks for the answers... and the invitation :-) I'll try to do my best. I'm already using XEclipse and created the spaces with it. BTW: reeeeaaaaally nice... I keep trying to find the source of my problem and as soon as I find out what went wrong I will post it... Cheers, Aleks Vincent Massol wrote:

So... last post for today... I reinstalled xwiki locally and imported the xar file... then created a space with the admin account. And again: no possibility to edit the access rights. Same phenomenon for the imported "Photo" space... Cheers, Aleks Aleksandar Vidakovic wrote:
