I'm using a XWiki 2.0 instance where users are authenticated against an Active Directory through LDAP.

But I want to use AD only for authentication and want to administer my group memberships within XWiki.

I've tried creating a new group on a fresh 2.0 instance and it worked flawlessly. Can you try force-refreshing the page and see whether it still happens (CTRL+SHIFT+R in Firefox)? If that still doesn't work, can you tell us more about your configuration / upgrade path? Thanks, Guillaume
