It carries the generic mechanics (cherry-pick -x oldest-first in a worktree, adapt-to-branch, verify, push/PR) and two checks that were missing and that break real backports: - Module pom versions: a new module cherry-picks verbatim with the source branch's parent version, so it builds as that version and resolves siblings from the frozen remote snapshot instead of the reactor. A clean cherry-pick never conflicts on it, so it must be swept for explicitly. Latent: individual PRs pass CI, the branch breaks later. - Java level: a newer source branch may use APIs the older branch's Java level lacks (e.g. Java 21 List.getFirst()/getLast()/reversed()); compiles on the source, fails only on the older branch. Refactor xwiki-backport-testneeded to delegate the mechanics to xwiki-backport and keep only the testneeded-specific layer (issue sweep, testneeded label, @since policy for test-support classes, consolidated master PR). Register the new skill (README, OKF index) and bump the plugin version to 0.8.0.
