Capture the rule as a new OKF topic (conventions/page-deletion.md), generic to any page deletion rather than tied to documentation authoring or conversion: - what the deletion wizard does repoint ("New target" + "Update links", plus the XWiki.RedirectClass redirect) and what it never does (a REST DELETE, links written as absolute URLs, macro parameters without MacroRefactoring, references held in xproperties); - why the Information tab's Backlinks list must be completed with a farm-wide search: an absolute URL is an external link, so it is not a backlink at all; - the triage table, and the recovery path (restore from the trash to get the list back) when a page was already deleted. The doc-migration file keeps only its migration-specific triage and defers the mechanics to the new topic; documentation.md and the xwiki-doc-writing, xwiki-doc-convert and xwiki-rest-api skills point at it.
