Author: Vincent Massol <[email protected]> Date: 2026-10-06 (Tue, 06 Oct 2026) Changed paths: M xwiki-platform-core/xwiki-platform-localization/xwiki-platform-localization-api/src/main/java/org/xwiki/localization/LocaleUtils.java Log Message: ----------- XCOMMONS-3819: Upgrade to Apache Commons Lang 3.21.0 * Commons Lang 3.21.0's `LocaleUtils.toLocale()` now parses the String representation of locales with a script (e.g. `zh__#Hans`) or extensions (e.g. `ja_JP_#u-ca-japanese`), which made `LocaleUtils.isValid()` accept them and broke `LocaleUtilsTest#isValid` * Reject such locales explicitly in `LocaleUtils.isValid()`, which restores the exact set of available locales computed with Commons Lang 3.20.0 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <[email protected]> To unsubscribe from these emails, change your notification settings at https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/settings/notifications
