Extensions appended, none ever cut: the map had grown to 57 lines / 4.6 KB — half the file — describing topics that `okf/index.md` already describes in more detail. * `instructions/xwiki-org.md` — the OKF map goes back to routing: topic names plus a clause only where the name is not self-explanatory (20 lines / 1.4 KB). Every phrase dropped was checked to exist in `okf/index.md` first, so nothing is lost. The one rule that genuinely had to stay always-on — never hard-wrap prose — moves out of a parenthetical in the map onto the 120-character bullet it qualifies, where it is actually read. File: 9812 → 6671 bytes, ~785 tokens off every session. * `skills/xwiki-knowledge/SKILL.md` — the EXTEND gate gains an always-on item saying the mirror is routing only and a rule may be promoted there only when it must be obeyed without opening any OKF file; step 2 asks for the topic's name rather than a description; a new step 3 asks that a touched section come out shorter, stale and duplicated content cut, with the cuts listed in the PR. * `scripts/validate.mjs` — new invariant 5: byte budgets on the whole file and on the map block, so the accretion is caught mechanically rather than at review. The message names the fix (describe the topic in `okf/index.md`). * `CLAUDE.md` — record the budget alongside the other editing conventions.
