Hi, I have made some modifications in my Calendar application proposal. I am still learning about the working of XWiki and I would like to work for it. Irrespective of whether my proposal is selected for GSoC or not I want to work for XWiki development. If you appoint nobody for calendar application for this summer I request you me to work on this project. although in this case I wont be available full time yet I assure you about some nice output. thanks for your help and support. 1. How JavaScript can be used?
Anyway you like it. For example, this is one of the best ways: http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/SkinExtensionsTutorial
2. Can I use my own JavaScript library?
Sure, but we try to reuse existing libraries as much as possible, and minimize the number of libraries that have to be sent to the client. We currently suggest using Prototype or SmartGWT.
3. How AJAX is implemented within XWiki?
We use Ajax.Request from Prototype. See http://www.prototypejs.org/api/ajax
