I am using Eclipse intensively when working on XWiki, but I am a console-fanatic, so the way I work is not the best way.
So, in order to setup the XWiki source code for Eclipse, you must do the following:
1. Install the custom version of Maven as described on http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/Building#HInstallingMaven 2. Checkout the sources. I prefer using the command-line svn client, but you can use any svn client you want.
Hi, I've been trying to complete the steps in your message and I think that I am almost there. But there are some doubts that arise from the use of one or other tool. Concerning software check-out, svn co http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/trunks/ works fine and right now it checked out revision 7085, the same it is shown if I access http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/trunks/ with a web browser and matching the revision referenced by the last message sent to [email protected]. But if I use Subclipse 1.2.4 in Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1 Build id: M20071023-1652, what I see, Eclipse shows, is pom.xml 7039. There is not [xwiki-notifications] r7039 message sent to [email protected] (or at least I've not received it). Please, is that the expected behavior? Must I expect pom.xml 7085 to be shown in Eclipse? Thank you so much for your help, Ricardo -- Ricardo RodrÃguez Your EPEC Network ICT Team
