Hi, New version improved: http://incubator.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Ciprian/Search%20icon
- neutral colors used - old text replaced with "xwiki" - search button inline with the edit field
Looks great to me.
you should: - leave the position of the form: input - button like in the search-icon7.png - leave the search icon oriented towards right, like the first ones (4,5,6)
this means the magnifier would highlight the button, not the input - thus emphasing the word "Search" - which is exactly what this area is about.
I will take http://incubator.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/download/Ciprian/Search%20icon/search... for 2.4M1 which is supposed to be released pretty soon, it can be improved latter.
Thanks, Caty

Hi,
I made a search admin icon. You can see it on:
http://incubator.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Ciprian/Search%20icon
+1 for version2
Please take a look and give some suggestions.
Looks good but 2 questions/remarks:
- why does it say xwiki.cfg? IMO saying "xwiki" should be enough, or
maybe
"xwiki search"
+1
- re the color we should stay neutral so that it fits well with all themes
and with the rest of the admin icons
Thanks -Vincent
Thanks, Ciprian.
