When the wiki is empty (just the WAR installed, DW skipped) and when the user goes to the Administration, I think we should have a warning and a button telling the user that he should install the EM UI to be able to install extensions. Why not simply restart the DW when you go to Admin and there is no admin application yet ? For those really wanting to import, the DW may provide a link to access back the import page.
The DW isn't the EM. It doesn't allow you to install an extension. It only allows you to install flavors.
Sure, but is it silly to only provide that initially ? You may well made a flavor that only install the EM UI.
I don't think that's a flavor… We need to be very careful not to call everything a flavor because since flavors are just groups we may quickly have a combinatorial explosion. Also there's going to be a lot of flavors at some point and finding this flavor among real flavors is going to be complex. It seems much better to handle EM UI differently IMO. It's also too complex to let the user find by himself that he'd need to install a flavor to get the EM IMO. BTW he already clicked cancel on the initial DW screen so seeing again the DW is probably not what he wants/expects… :) Thanks -Vincent
