Hi, If you check more thoroughly extension page for Activity Stream application, you see: "Dependencies - org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-rendering-wikimacro-store 5.4.3 - org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-activitystream-api 5.4.3" So the activity stream application still uses the activity stream api ... And on the event stream module page : "In the future this plugin will be replaced by the newer Event Stream Module<http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Event+Stream+Module>. At the moment that new module is only an API which replaces the older ActivityStream API. At this stage it still uses the ActivityStream implementation as its back-end." I think conclusion is that event stream module will replace activity stream, but currently, it's not the case. BR, Jeremie 2014-04-02 10:18 GMT+02:00 Hamster <[email protected]>:
Hi all,
I am looking for some feedback to the performance of the
On the XWiki Extensions <http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome> , you will find:
Activity Stream Application <http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Activity+Macro> Activity Stream Plugin < http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Activity+Stream+Plugin
But also the:
Event Stream Module <http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Event+Stream+Module>
Besides the different wording (application, plugin and module), it's not clear to me what extension is the current standard. The Event Stream Module supposed to replace the Activity Stream Plugin, but I am not finding any "Event Stream Application" (which would replace the Activity Stream Application).
