XWiki 1.0 RC2 is now staged for testing
Hi everyone, I've staged the RC2 release on http://www.xwiki.org/10rc2/ It would be nice if some of you could quickly try it out (we'd like to release ASAP) and let us know if it's working as expected. Once we get a few confirmations we'll officially release it. You can check the release notes on http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/ReleaseNotesXWiki10RC2 Thanks a lot -Vincent (on behalf of the XWiki dev team)
Didn't get many answers so far... we should probably give more time but the problem is that we'd need more delay to do that properly... I'm worried about a potential issue with a UTF-8 setup and creation of pages with non-ASCII chars. It works fine on my machine but Sergiu mentioned it's possible that he's getting a problem. It would be cool if some of you have a UTF-8 set up to try this out. Anyway I'm going to release RC2 tonight as planned as we'll do a very quick RC3 if there's a big problem. We need the maximum of people to try out RC2. Come on, don't be shy! :-) Thanks -Vincent On Apr 25, 2007, at 6:43 PM, Vincent Massol wrote:
