[xwiki-devs] What do we do with the Albatross skin?
Hi, Now that Toucan has been up and running for more than 1 year what do we do with the Albatross skin? Several options: 1) We continue to support it and fix bugs such as http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-679 2) We decide to mothball it, ie not support it ourselves but apply patches from users if they come. This means keeping it in svn but not packaging it with XE I'm hesitating. Maybe we should poll our users list? Thanks -Vincent http://xwiki.com http://xwiki.org http://massol.net
One question: isn't Toucan inheriting from Albatross code? If you stop supporting Albatross, do you mean you would integrate everything in toucan or keep as it is? Pascal On Sat, Jan 17, 2009 at 10:25 AM, Vincent Massol <[email protected]> wrote:

It simply means copying the albatross stuff that are needed for Toucan. I think this is already done anyway by the build. -Vincent

I'm +0 with option 2) if we tackle toucan major issues such as http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XSTOUCAN-9 +1 to poll on users list before deciding on something. Jerome. Vincent Massol wrote:
