Very interesting. A few "fresh eyes" comments:

- you're not using standard UI elements of the iOS set except for the main menu. That makes it much difficult to follow:

It's hybrid HTML so you are limited in terms of UI elements. I don't think it's that bad though but work is needed to make good elements.

- the back button - the font is a bit small (I'm on iPad mini) - the text-fields are small - the URL input and username input should deactivate spell suggestion if possible - I had inserted myDomain/xwiki as URL and things were declared successful until I found from the log that it was querying /xwiki/xwiki. I think you may want to "tolerate" the extra /xwiki (or warn or...) - instead of "open" i would write "open in Safari"

Finally, could you list the features that are supposed to run? E.g. is editing supposed to work? forms? notifications?

See on the dev wiki. http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/MobileClient I have notifications working on my own device/account for our intranet, but it's complicated to release. It requires an intermediary server or a server setup + scalability is an issue. See the thread on activity stream experiment to see the notifications that you would get every 5 minutes if there are changes.

And a curiosity question: will you describe a workflow to create derivative apps?

That would require some training/documentation. There is a little here: http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/MobileClient particularly how to add menus from code that is actually in your wiki. I'm pretty happy about that feature, because it allows to add to the application specifically for one xwiki instance. Creating derivative apps could boil down to the same as the "screen" notion described there is the same for all screens in the application. Ludovic
