Frank, Are you sure you have the same problem? By this I mean: 1. Are you also not on the wiki farm? 2. Have you also already tried saving RegisterNewUser with a user with programming rights? (if you're on the farm you'll have to ask an admin to do it for you). Jonathan, I guess you have already tried reverting RegisterNewUser to its original content, i.e. you are not using a modified registration script? Is there anything in your xwiki.log that could provide any clues? I have had problems creating users in the past when I was using a corrupt db image; the log was full of SQL exceptions. Hi,
you are faster:-) I have exact the same problem.
Hi,
My user registration screen is broken and returns a -1 error whenever I try to register a new user.
It is on my own xwiki server, not on the farm. I've tried enabling the superadmin user, editing, and re-saving the RegisterNewUser document but I still get the same problem.
I have two wikis running on this server, with 'virtual' switched on in xwiki.cfg; the registration works fine in the default wiki but not in the new one I have created.
I'm an utter newbie to xwiki so it's possible I'm missing something obvious... if someone could post step-by-step instructions as to what is normally done to solve this problem, I'd be grateful.
Many thanks Jonathan Essex.
