I have modified a bit server startup scripts and started websphere server with -Dfile.encoding=ISO8859-1 and XWiki is working both with MySQL and PostgreSQL! After all, only this was important... Now, i'm wondering what about utf-8 applications...
Also I have compiled unicode-ready jrcs with ibm's java tools. I will include jar as attachment on Dev.CharactersSets, as build with jakarta ant caused linking problems.
