You can go to the wiki administration and check with the "Look & Feel" -> "Page Element" The first input field in that page might be helpful ;)
For the next step I want to use the Spaces for seperating the departments like Development, Projectmanagement etc., but if I set up the Groups and the rights of the users, they are landing on the mainpage. Is there a way to redirect them directly to the site, which they should see?
I vaguely feel that subwikis might be better suited than spaces to your use case. I remember I once had to set up a wiki, where some members ("special guests") for some reason should not be allowed to see the home page, but instead got redirected to another "special" space. That was quite a hack already :-/ (Actually I overrode the default header.vm in the Xwiki.DefaultSkin ... not sure if you want to know the details.) If I would have to extend the hack this means adding something more that redundantly tells the home page which user (or group) "belongs" to each space ... that does not look like a good idea to me. On the other hand it is maybe possible to give each user a "home space" by extending the user object, but still this means some odd hacking. So maybe better check out subwikis and see if they work for you hope this helps clemens
