Not that hard, you have a input field where you can filter what you are searching for.

It's just above the list of branches/tags for me.
You even ends up in it by default when you click on the branch button.

You don't go to the right UI actually, this one is to download the tag. If you want to navigate in the tag/branch you have to use the branch button (not the tab) on the left and then in the popup go to the tags.
