Did you first remove the existing files before extracting the new war? You might have two versions of each jar in WEB-INF/lib if you didn't, which is wrong.

The jars also have the version in their name, so they don't get overwritten. If you didn't change anything on the filesystem, it would be simpler to: - save the "database" folder from the old installation - extract the new version in a clean folder - move the old database folder instead of the new one -- Sergiu Dumitriu http://purl.org/net/sergiu/
